Psychological experiment, reality TV, or entertainment?
Since the first series of Big Brother, in the summer of 2000, the show has become something of a national institution in Britain, with similar shows in many countries around the world. While the first series seemed to be a psychological experiment with a bit of entertainment value, this latest series in particular, Big Brother 5, was much more the opposite: an entertainment show with a touch of psychological interest. |
